This 2021 Volkswagen Crafter came in from RDS Welding & Fabrication with the aim of gaining extra power while significantly improving fuel economy. Originally producing 177 BHP and 400 Nm of torque, the van was upgraded with an Ecomax Pro tune, increasing output to 192 BHP and 425 Nm of torque, along with fuel savings of up to 10%. At the customer’s request, the 75 mph speed limiter was removed and the AdBlue system deleted as part of the package. After completing the tuning, I took the van out for a test drive with the customer, and the improved performance, smoother power delivery, and efficiency resulted in nothing but a big smile on his face
